Construction of a crushing and screening complex and infrastructure facilities to process ore from Kotenko open-cast mine at Aksu site in Akmola region

Once commissioned, the plant will be one of the largest and advanced gold-producing enterprises in Kazakhstan.

The ore treatment process comprises three-stage crushing, two-stage milling, gravity milling followed by intensive leaching of gravity concentrate, CIL process, desorption (Split-AARL process), electrolytic gold extraction and finished product (Dore gold) smelting.

Details

What makes this project special are two large ball mills (each being 7.3m in diameter and 10.97 m long) to be installed. Also, the CIL process plant to be constructed will be the largest in Kazakhstan, consisting of thirteen (13) CIL tanks 16m high and 14m in diameter.
